Kevin
and his wife Brenda are good friends going back a number of years.
He is a big fan of the American Freedom Train, and locomotive #4449
in particular. He
models both small scale (HO) and large (7 1/2" gauge)!

Kevin's
Dash 9.
It's
huge -- over 10 feet long and about 1000 lbs.
Kevin decorated it in the style of the Southern Pacific's Bicentennial
diesels whose paint job was designed by the late Chester Mack
(who also designed the paint for the 1947 Freedom Train).
